      • Troll the roadside of the lake, hitting the coves, around the marinas

      • Try the far shore near the middle part of the lake

      • Shore fishing is good along the beach area, across the lake along the steep wall, near the reeds along the west side of the lake, and near Boulder Lodge.

      • Around the marina, the inlet, and near the dam

      • Channel between the north and south sections

      • Where Park Creek and Rush Creek enter the lake

      • Sheepherders' Bay

  • Rush Creek

      • Between Silver and Grant Lake

      • Below Grant Lake

      • Where Rush Creek enters Mono Lake

  • Reversed Creek

    • Areas to fish:

      • Between Gull and Silver Lake

      • Just above the Silver Lake inlet

  • Parker Lake

  • Walker Lake

    • Short walk from trailhead

    • Caddis hatches occur during the summer months

    • Midge hatch occurs throughout the year

    • Dry fly action works during the early morning or late evening. During the rest of the day, try dark colored streamers with a sinking line to get the patterns close to the bottom.
